Summer of 2012

     Well....we didn't do a whole lot this summer break, no big vacations, no road trips, lagoon days, hikes in the grand canyon, we didn't visit the happiest place on earth, or the Big Apple, or swim in the ocean, BUT.... I will have to say that all the trips back and forth to Provo High, all the money we didn't have that went for B-ball camps, making homemade pizzas, watching Brooks first Dace Competition, happy hour at Sonic...more than one time, watching Hunter play ball a week after I had Jax, endless trips to the mall to window shop for the newest Nike's, hearing the kids giggle until 2 am some nights, coloring with Brooks and playing Pet Shop, inventing new ways to use spinach in smoothies, starting workout routines and then starting them over and then starting them again, giving facials to Hunter at 1 am, Hunter's first job at the snow shack, taking nightly walks with Brooks, Daddy and Mr. Jax, trying to get the boys to start a book for the summer, taking naps in the middle of the day, making Jax laugh for the first time, getting in a car with Hunter for the first time AHHHH, trips to Seven Peaks with Brooks, listening to all 4 kids sleep in the front room together, dancing in our jammies at 3 pm with Brooks and Mr. Jax, experiencing the Boys first mullets, oh and lets not forget pushing out a 9 lb baby that we all can't keep our hands off......It's been a pretty good summer for this Mom!

..... But this is the time of year when I start popping pills, Prozac, Tylenol, Skittles, M & M's you know whatever I can get my hands on, for when my 3 best friends go back to school! I miss them already...

    Thanks Hunter, Braxton, and Brooks......for all you have done for Mr. Jax and I this summer, thanks for letting me sit in my Lazy Boy nursing SO not discreetly while I lay asleep with my mouth wide open in an awkward way. For letting me take you to practice with scary hair, mascara down my face and no bra on. Thanks Hunter for making eggs more than one morning while Jax and I slept in. Thanks for not complaining while Dad looked for another job and funds were non existent! Thanks to all of you for grabbing a diaper, wipes, blanket, TV remote, drink of water, pacifier or whatever Jax or I needed when we came home!, Thanks for not deleting my Housewives of Orange County, The Bachelorette, American Idol, Cupcake Wars etc. so I had something to watch at 3 am with Mr. Jax. Brooks, thanks for patiently waiting 2 months, for me to organize your room after Jax stole yours. Thanks to all of you for acting like my new "bean salad" was great in my quest to eat healthier when looking back it was really nasty! lol Braxton thanks for always asking me if I needed help. Brooks thanks for rubbing my back as I cried for no apparent reason after I popped out Jax and my hormones didn't get the memo, and Hunter thanks for always hanging out with me and treating me like I might be a cool Mom to have!

....Most of all thanks for who you are and who you want to be...you make me want to turn back time and relive the summer of 2012 all over again! The best of luck to you this next school year and may we all survive the next two days and not want to kill each other as we finish your school shopping! All my Love, Mom!
