The perfect OMG moment.....

If there was ever a time for an "OMG" it was today! Ironically it was in my Sunday school class. lol So let me give you some history.....Kenton and I this year are teaching the eleven year old Primary class that I taught last year. Last years class was so much fun to teach with the exceptions of a few naughty kids, we were really looking forward to the new year!.....

So I started my morning the usual way....getting up before everyone else to spackle the face and tease the hair. After dragging my feet and realizing that we are going to be late I hurry and wake everyone as if the house was on fire. This is the part of my morning where the boys all of a sudden don't know how to tie ties, brush teeth, and do their own hair. Brooks at this point has told me 10 times that she will be going to class today while I try and do something creative with 3 day old hair. Kenton??? Oh funny you should ask! He is still in bed trying to beat the worlds record of "getting ready for church the fastest", which DRIVES ME CRAZY! You would think that after 16 years he would stop this tradition and you would think that after 16 years I would start keeping things from him for doing so. :) Now call me crazy, but where in the scriptures or in what conference talk does it say...The mother shall get everyone up and ready on the sabbath with a smile on her face and a song in her heart! Ya I haven't read that either! This all leads up to New Years resolution #67....Don't curse before church at your kids or sleeping husband!

What was I talking about? Oh ya....so we finally make it to church....by the 6th testimony and I'm looking quite lovely for 9 in the morning and eager to meet my new class. The last Hymn is sung and prayer given. I open the door to my class where about 5 kids sit eager to learn the gospel.....or just really tired and hungry! .....The first thing I hear is "BLEACH"!!! I almost dropped my church bag and ran out the door. This comes from the sweet girl in the back of the room, we will just call her "sweet girl" for temple recommend purposes. Then she proceeds to comment again...."why do you bleach your hair that much?". I told her that it was natural.....with a little laugh thinking she would get the hint! Oh silly me why would she get the hint! She then says, "your hair is naturally brown cause I can see the roots!". OH NO YOU DIDN'T! First the bleach now your going for the roots!!! I began to ignore her because it was that or take her on, which didn't seam like the right thing to do! At that point the other kids are looking at my hair and I call for an opening prayer. I couldn't really say I heard much of that prayer because all I kept saying inside my head was ........"Where is Kenton?....Bleach?.....Who does she think she is?......Oh Kenton is dead when I get home!" Somehow we managed to have a wonderful class! Let's just say that I am so flippin afraid to see what she is going to attack next week....if it's my big fat butt that's where I draw the line!
